ROLE: Transplant Coordinator

LOCATION: Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana

A transplant coordinator manages the organ transplant process from start to finish. They work with patients, donors, families, and the transplant team.

Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients: Assess patients for transplant eligibility and suitability
• Match donors to recipients: Find donors who are compatible with recipients
• Coordinate care: Arrange evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care
• Coordinate transplant surgery: Schedule surgeries and arrange for the transport of organs
• Provide support: Offer emotional support to patients and their families
• Educate: Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals about organ donation
• Manage paperwork: Handle the paperwork for organ donation and transfer
• Manage consent: Help donor families obtain consent for organ donation
• Manage post-transplant care: Provide follow-up care and support to patients and their families

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, Master of Social Work or a related field.
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) or equivalent certification
