About Dr. Sachin Ambre

Dr. Sachin Ambre serves as the Head of the Oncology Department at RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital, Goa. He has completed his MBBS from Goa Medical College and MS in General Surgery from BJ Medical College and Sassoon Hospital, Pune. Following this he followed his passion and completed his MCh in super-specialty training in Surgical Oncology from AIIMS. He has contributed to over 3500 complex and high-risk cancer surgeries.

Areas of Expertise:

• Complex Cancer Surgeries including Stomach Pancreas, gall bladder, Colon Rectum, kidney and Lung Cancer 
• Breast Cancer and Cosmetic Breast Cancer Surgeries 
• Laparoscopic and Robotic Cancer Surgery. 
• Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) for advanced cancer of the Ovary, endometrium, stomach and Colon 
• Limb Preservation and reconstruction  for cancer of upper and lower limbs
