About Dr. Manoj Biswas

Dr. Manoj Biswas is a Chief Urologist at RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospital, Dehradun. He completed his MBBS from B.H.U. Varanasi, MS (General Surgery) and  Dr.N.B in  (Genito-Urinary Surgery) IUKRC Institute of Urology & Kidney Research Centre. Also worked as a Professor & Head of the Department, at the Department of Urology at Government Doon Medical College, Dehradun as well as at AIIMS Bhopal. He has a vast experience of more than 15 years and is highly skilled in performing a large number of Urological procedures for stones and prostate.

Areas of Expertise:

• Endourology (TURP, TURBT, PCNL, URS, ESWL, SPCL, VIU, VVF Fulguration, Endopyelotomy etc.), Laparoscopy (Ureterolithotomy, Nephrectomy, Pyeloplasty etc.), 
• Open Surgeries, 
• Reconstructive Surgeries,
• Paediatric Urological Surgeries. 
• Laser procedures for stones like RIRS and prostate like HOLEP and urethral reconstruction. 
   

Awards and Recognition:

• Won 1st prize in a Quiz Competition in April 2002, organized by I.M.A. Varanasi participated in a 24-hour course entitled Dr Swift in June 2004 from NIIT Varanasi, Jawahar Nagar Colony Center. 
• Got selected and attended for A.U.A. Resident Scholar Program, Chicago 25th 30th April 2009, United States.
• Received 1st Health Icon Awards of Uttarakhand, organized by T.O.I. in 2016 and got selected & Awarded for the Youth Fellowship Program 2018 under the aegis of Urological Association of Asia, KYOTO JAPAN. 
• Conducted 1st Midterm NZUSI Conference 2019, "Laparoscopic Urology: How I do It", at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, as Organizing Secretary on 5th April 2019 as an Organizing Secretary.
