About Dr. Punit Bansal

Dr. Punit Bansal has been associated as a Chief Urologist for 13 years at RG Stone Hospital, Ludhiana. He completed his MBBS from KMC Mangalore in 1999, and MS- Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala in 2003. After completing his MS, he worked as a Senior Resident at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh and as an Assistant Professor at Adesh Medical College, Bhatinda. He did his MCh- Urology from IPGMER and SSKM hospital, Kolkata in 2009.

Dr. Punit Bansal is renowned and has a vast experience of 25 years as a urologist, and he has successfully performed more than 15,000 Urological surgeries. 

Dr. Punit Bansal has successfully performed a Flexible Ureteroscopy for kidney stones, and more than 500 HoLEP surgeries for large prostate glands to date, the largest prostate being 350 gm. He has published more than 25 articles in International journals and is also a Member of the Urology Society of India and North Zone and AUA (American Urological Association).
