Dr. R K Sharma is Senior Consultant Radiologist at RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospital, East of Kailash, New Delhi. An alumnus of King George School, Bangalore, Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati and Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, Assam, he completed his masters in Radiology in 2006. Dr. Sharma holds an experience of more than 15 years in the field of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. R K Sharma is an experienced, skilled and awarded doctor in his field of specialization with vast experience in all radiological modalities including MRI, CT, 3-4D Ultrasonography, EUS, X-rays, Interventions and all Fluoroscopic procedures. Apart from these, he has received training in Intra-Vascular Radiology at the Army Referral and Research Hospital (RR Hospital, Delhi) and Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, Delhi.
Dr. R K Sharma is actively involved with a team of engineers from Manipal University, Jaipur, which developed computer aided auto-detection systems for the diagnosis and management of covid-19 infection during the recent pandemic. The project model was implemented and appreciated by the State Government of Rajasthan.
Dr. R K Sharma is a Gold level certified senior Radiologist with the leader of AI based radiology solution Provider Company based at Bangalore, which caters to both National and International clients.
Dr. R K Sharma, has to his credit many awards and achievements at the state, national and international levels, including best orator in radiological physics at the state level, Radiology quiz master award, Best poster at National level in radiological-interventions, best AI based computer aided auto-detection system analysis project held at Bangalore and young physicist at state level apart from being a merit holder in post-graduation at the university level.
Dr. R K Sharma is a lifetime member of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Society of Pediatric Radiology & Indian Society for Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ISVIR).
