Dr. Vardhan Bhobe is Medical Superintendent and Head of General and Laparoscopic Surgery Department of RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospital, Porvorim, Goa.

After completing MS General Surgery as Gold Medallist in 2002 from Goa Medical College, he worked as Senior Resident in Surgery Department of Goa Medical College for 3 years. He worked as Fellow in Laparoscopic Surgery for 1 year in Mumbai under guidance of Dr. Roy. He worked as Senior Surgeon in Health Services in Goa for 5 years from 2006 – 2011.

Since 2011, Dr. Vardhan is working as General and Laparoscopic Surgeon in RG Stone Hospital till date. He has to his credit more than 6000 Laparoscopic procedures like Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Hernia Repair. His work also includes expertise in Cancer Surgeries of Breast, Colorectal, Stomach and Intestinal Malignancies.

Dr. Vardhan has special interest in emergency surgeries releated to trauma and emergency abdominal conditions.

He is also permanent member of ASI, Goa chapter, ex-president of IMA Goa, Bardez branch. IAGES, AWASI.

Dr. Vardhan has also organised, attended and worked as faculty in many state level conferences.
